Quarterbacks, kickers, coaches, cheerleaders, the marching band and Luke Franklin: This is the typical Olivet football game.

For the first time in school history, the Men’s Cross Country team reached the top 10 in the NAIA this season. The team placed in the top ten in each of its first five meets and later went on to win the Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference Meet at the beginning of November. Five of the team’s runners placed in the top ten in the race of over fifty runners. CCAC Coach of the Year Mike McDowell attributes the success to the make-up of the team.
